impressions

visual Around 5'11" with a lean build, tan skin, dark brown hair that's around shoulder length when he lets it out of its bun/braids, violet eyes, and branching face tattoos. Appears to be in his 30s, give or take. Dresses like a ren faire woodsman who lost his boots. Very sure on his feet, "fluid and compact" and frequently silent when moving, does a lot of unhurried leaning and might seem kind of languid except for being bright and watchful around the eyes and fidgety in a controlled twirl-a-stick-through-his-fingers way. Good people-readers could correctly peg him as not entirely faking being patient and laid back, but definitely exercising some restraint and at times being way more ready to pounce than he appears.

aural Deep-voiced — not too deep, but deeper than you might expect out of someone with his build. His accent has a lot in common with Welsh but is not actually Welsh. (This is not what is depicted in Veilguard but what is depicted in Veilguard is a bunch of people speaking a lost language from 4,000 years prior filtered through memory, spirits, and magical autotranslation, so call the canon cops if you want but no jury will convict me.)

magical Technically Felassan is an ancient spirit inhabiting a body that was formed from a potent magical substance, so anyone with a magic geiger counter would probably register something. Talk to me if your character senses things more specifically than "that's magic" and I will give you details. Just not what kind of spirit he is/was because I don't fuckin' know.

permissions

aggression Verbally, Felassan has a lot of opinions and will argue about them, usually in a chill "we're just having a conversation" way but occasionally in a shitty button-pushing way. I love an IC argument and complicated negative CR, but let me know if a conversation starts going somewhere unpleasant for you OOC and I'll fix it. Physical fighting is also cool — just talk to me about anything more serious than a scuffle so we can make sure no one dies. Felassan is happy to freeze someone solid and crush them into bloody ice flecks when threatened but I will always find ways to make sure he doesn't do that.

affection Freely physically affectionate with friends if they allow it; won't freak out if non-friends touch him but may treat them like they've been rude. Flirting is likely. Casual sex is possible. Romantic relationships would be slow-burn and complicated on several fronts. In the event of a sex scene I'm always happy to ftb if you prefer, sometimes I also prefer it, and when I do write out sex scenes I'm usually more interested in the before/after and want to condense the middle to a few tags.

offense Felassan's history includes slavery, genocide, wars and violent revolution, mass death, fantasy racism, and adjacency to abusive relationships. He's not triggered in the PTSD sense by those subjects but might get riled up and derail a conversation if they're broached. He may also talk shit about humans or various fantasy races and cultures. If you'd like me to avoid any of it for you OOC, say the word. (Though some of it is so intrinsic to him it'll limit CR potential.)
